Over our first year and three months, we supported hundreds of students through Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4. We are now running Class 5, continuing our commitment to practical, accessible education.

Our purpose
Midnimo Academy is an educational community focused on making practical knowledge accessible to Somali youth without charging for courses. Our subjects include financial literacy, cryptocurrency and financial markets, blockchain technology, and digital skills.
How learning works
Public course pages describe our curriculum. Registered students may use student services and join scheduled live learning sessions when available. A published course outline is not a promise that all lessons are already available.
Our approach
We prioritise accessible explanations, critical thinking, online safety, and responsible financial education. We do not guarantee jobs, income, or investment returns. Educational material is not personalised financial advice.

Our Story & Achievements
From protecting our community to building a learning movement. Midnimo Academy began approximately one year and three months ago with a simple mission: help Somali learners recognise scams, resist financial hype and fear of missing out (FOMO), and access trustworthy education without being pressured into expensive programmes.
We saw how misleading promises, aggressive marketing and get-rich-quick narratives could put learners at risk. Rather than adding to that noise, we chose to share knowledge freely, encourage independent thinking and build a supportive community. Our concern is with harmful practices, not a claim that every other school operates this way.
